Data protection at Jurilo: Your questions — our clear commitment to confidentiality and security

A user recently reached out to us with a legitimate question — and we really appreciate that kind of feedback. Because they help us to further improve our communication and our product.

The core concern was:

“When you see that we use Jurilo — do you also see our specific questions? And if a person intervenes — is he subject to attorneys' privilege? Are there contractual regulations and is an outstanding situation ruled out?”

We would like to answer these points openly and transparently:

1. Who sees what?

Jurilo is primarily a fully automated legal chatbot — developed for Swiss SMEs, trustees and HR teams.
The vast majority of user requests are fully automated and within seconds answered — without anyone ever having access to content.

In short: No — we don't see your questions.
We also do not actively or manually evaluate content, especially not to identify individual users or their legal issues.

We only see anonymized statistics, such as the number of questions asked, common topics (e.g. holidays, termination, working hours) or technical usage data (such as browser type or error messages).

2. What happens when a person has to intervene?

In very rare cases — such as a deliberately requested or escalated request — a person commissioned by us may legal expert support.

In this case, the following applies:

  • It's happening only at the user's request.
  • There is a contractual confidentiality obligation (in accordance with our terms and conditions and privacy policy).
  • Access is granted exclusively by qualified specialists, which are either themselves subject to attorneys' privilege or are contractually bound by equivalent confidentiality obligations.
  • A possible Withdrawal obligation (e.g. in the event of conflicts of interest) is already on the system side prevented — through a role and access concept that does not disclose any personal or company-specific data.

3. Your data belongs to you — period.

Jurilo does not store any personal data permanently without express consent. We work DSG and GDPR compliant with servers in Switzerland and make sure that all data encrypted be transferred and processed.
